To update your email address in Moodle:


  • Login to Moodle

  • Click on your name at the top right of the page and go to Profile

Your profile details will be displayed here including your email address.


  • Click the Edit profile link to make changes to your profile:

  • Scroll down to Email address and click into the text box:

  • Update the email address to your student email* and scroll down and click the Update profile button to save the changes:

  • Moodle will send a confirmation email to the new email address:

  • You will need to login to your inbox to see this email and click the URL link provided to confirm and save your new email address in your Moodle profile.
