Drag and Drop a video


If you have a video file saved it is possible to drag and drop it into your course. 

You can either:

  • add it as a file to download, open and save
  • embed it to play within the course


  1. Open your course
  2. Turn editing on

  3. Go the section you would like to add the video
  4. Find your mp4 video file
  5. Drag it to the correct section of the course



  6. Select:
    • Add media to course page, to Embed video
    • Create file resource for downloadable file



  7. Click: Upload



Embed a video in a Label


Copy the embed code


  1. Find your video on a website
  2. Right click on the video and select: Copy embed code. Make sure the advert has finished playing!!



Adding a Label

  1. Open your course
  2. Turn editing on

  3. Go the section you would like to add the Label
  4. Click: Add an activity or resource




  5. Select: Label and click: Add

  6. Open the Toolbar

  7. Select: Edit HTML source



  8. Right click and paste the embed code, click: Update



  9. Click:
